IVY YOUNG-BARNHILL | Co-President & Chairman

Ivy Young-Barnhill is the Founder and Co-President of the George F. Young III Foundation. She is a sibling to the deceased George F Young III who was a victim of homicide as a result of family violence. The impact of this loss is the driving force behind this foundation in efforts to give back and assist the children of families who are affected by domestic violence, mental illness, and homicide.  

 

Ivy received her education in her hometown of Conway, South Carolina where she graduated high school and attended the SHB International Hair Academy to pursue a career as a Licensed Nail Technician. Ivy is currently the owner and operator of the Forever Young Day Spa located in Conway, SC which is a beauty salon established in honor of George. Ivy’s drive and ambition is inspired by the influence George had on the lives of his family and those he loved. Her mission is to continue to share this love and compassion with others as a way to carry on George’s legacy. Ivy is a wife and mother of three children. She is also the primary caregiver to George’s youngest son. In her spare time, Ivy enjoys spending time with her children, providing selfless care to others, and is a devout woman of religious faith. 

 

Ivy is a dedicated woman who is committed to giving back to her community in a way that uplifts and inspires others. Her passion and resolve is what makes her an excellent leader of this foundation and contributor to its cause.
